 1873 Arrows. Open 3. Large Arrows. WB.Unlisted. Errant 3 in Denticles. Very Choice Brilliant Proof, and bordering on a Gem grade. One of 550 Proofs struck that have the With Arrows variant, likely all from this obverse die although this is not known. Examination will find a trace of an errant '3' in the denticles directly below the shaft of the right arrow. The fields are slightly hazy, and the coin remains generally bright silver with a hint of gold. It is curious that the date repunchings continue in this series to the degree seen in the present collection, particularly on a Proof issue.
