Signs of a mild cleaning long ago, generally light silver-gray on the obverse, the reverse with darker peripheral gold. Lustre survives in the fields. Minor die cracks through the reverse legends, and an attractive example of this issue. Well struck as usual for the date. Always in demand by date collectors, and locating an attractive coin such as this is always a challenge for the issue.
