1856'O' WB.102. Repunched Date. Choice Brilliant Uncirculated. Bright silver with abundant lustre...1856'O' WB.102. Repunched Date. Choice Brilliant Uncirculated. Bright silver with abundant lustre and a hint of pinkish-gold over the surfaces. A few hairlines in the right obverse field limit the grade, but the strike is sharp and full throughout. The repunched date is dramatic, with the '1' and '6' showing the most evidence of repunching. After a few years of better quality control at the Philadelphia Mint (where dies for branch mints were engraved), the status quo resumed numismatically entertaining engraving.
