Wonderfully vibrant lustre which remains especially bright, with a touch of purple and gold on the rim near Liberty's cap. The strike is average, with minor softness on the uppermost curls and minor hairlines limit the grade. A later die state with the reverse legend drawn to the rim, and the reverse die is rotated about 20 degrees counterclockwise. There is far more flash than usually encountered for this grade.
