Light silver-gray throughout and lustrous, with a touch of peripheral russet on the left obverse and reverse. Wiped in the past with the usual minor hairlines now present. The strike is average, with the stars lacking their central definition, but Liberty's curls and the eagle's feathers are clear. The edge lettering is blundered and overrun, one section reads ''CENFTIS OROR''.
