1809 O.102. XXXX Edge. Brilliant Uncirculated or essentially so, but gently cleaned. Still bright...1809 O.102. XXXX Edge. Brilliant Uncirculated or essentially so, but gently cleaned. Still bright and untoned save for a few tiny specks of gray. The devices are sharply impressed, including the stars and eagle's feathers. The obverse has evidence of slight friction in the left field and uppermost curls, and there are signs of contact past the denomination on the reverse. On this particular variety, a row of marks are impressed into the die below the scroll, and hints of clashed denticles are found through OF AM. Traces of shield lines are clashed below Liberty's ear.
