1803 O.101 (R-3). Large 3. Extremely Fine, but gently cleaned in the past and a bit washed out today....1803 O.101 (R-3). Large 3. Extremely Fine, but gently cleaned in the past and a bit washed out today. Still white in color although specks of gray and gold are forming around the rims. The strike is average, with slight weakness on the shield lines and obverse star centers. Examination of the surfaces reveals a small nick near the center of Liberty's chest, and a thin pin scratch slips through the field from her nose to star twelve. No rim problems are present. A scarce date and tough to find appreciably finer.
