1794 S.31. Marred Field, Long Fraction Bar. Mint State-60. A beauty for the chestnut brown to tan color throughout, with hints of bluish-red near the devices. A patch of surface porosity is present at 'TY' of LIBERTY, and there is a minor edge nick above the first 'S' of STATES. Further identifiable by a dull nick between 'CE' of CENT. A well struck coin that displays Liberty's hair curls in abundance, and the finer details of the wreath are visible, features seldom present on early copper that saw even brief circulation. Bold edge lettering and a splendid collector coin.
