Longacre depicts Liberty as an Indian princess surrounded by thirteen stars, holding a cap and pole with one hand and supports a globe bearing a ribbon inscribed LIBERTY with the other. The reverse is that of the adopted With Motto design. Gem Brilliant Proof and an outstanding, entirely honest specimen. A wonderful shade of rich red mint color exhibits just a faint blush of fading on either side. The definition is incredibly sharp and distinct, and the fields enjoy plenty of mirror-vividness. Wholesome in every respect, and revealing only the most trivial shortcomings under systematic examination under a glass. Extremely rare with there being in all likelihood no more than a dozen extant. It should also be pointed out that examples of this exciting Pattern with the degree of mint color offered here are virtually non-existent!
With there has long been a great deal of interest in any Indian Princess Longacre Patterns, it goes without saying that his imposing Silver Dollar denominations such as the present coin are among the most highly prized of the entire series.
