The most patient scrutiny with a glass finds a couple of nearly invisible hairlines in the fields, but there are none of the marks that are ordinarily seen on these massive and heavy, soft gold coins. One of only 483 actually released. Here is a simply outstanding example of one of America's most impressive commemoratives.
