 1859 Very Choice Brilliant Proof. A borderline Gem with Cameo contrast. Totally white in color save for a hint of gold around the reverse denticles. Boldly and completely struck and carefully preserved for an early Proof issue. The eye appeal is strong for this date. Slight repunching is found left of the serif of the '1' in the date.
