Bathed in frosty lustre and quite attractive for the delicate gold and blue peripheral toning. The strike is sharp on the stars and Liberty, even the eagle displays fine feather definition. One long bagmark in the right obverse field limits the grade, but fails to diminish the eye appeal of this lustrous coin.

Ex Stack's, September 1989, lot 26; Maurice Bauman Collection (Stack's, December 1966, lot 82).
