Attractively toned with frosty silver-gray over lustre, with iridescent pale blue peripheral accents. Dark gray on high points of the obverse and reverse, which helps to offset the design elements. Although a common variety, this is likely one of the best and almost certainly tied with a select group in the Condition Census for the variety.

Ex James Pryor Sale (Bowers and Merena, January 1996, lot 86); earlier purchased from Ed Hipps privately, February 16, 1985.

Lot # 1088 Session 1
