1833 Br.1, C.1. Mint State-64. Brown. A lovely coin for the collector who appreciates quality of strike and richness of color. Especially notable are the depth of Liberty's curls and the bi-color brown and brassy hues which are accented by magenta and yellow tints in the fields. The fields themselves are boldly reflective, giving the initial impression of a Proof, and show minor a few unobtrusive surface handling marks in the open areas. The reverse die is boldly clashed from Liberty's head, and the obverse displays the usual thin die crack through the stars on the left.
