 1854'D' The variety with a bold mintmark on the reverse, and the 54 in the date nearly touching on the obverse. Brilliant Uncirculated, nearly of Choice quality. Bright orange-golden fields and design elements are awash in an ample measure of icy mint frost. Well struck and exhibiting surface quality that is significantly nicer than the norm. In fact, there is not a single mark or imperfection that warrants special mention. A very rare date in this condition, and about as nice as one could reasonably hope to acquire since it is likely that no more than perhaps ten pieces surpass the quality of the presently offered specimen.
