 1896 Very Choice Brilliant Proof. Two-tone contrast features a wonderfully captivating liquid-mirror glow in the fields on either side. The legends and devices are needle-sharp and equally as impressive. There is an overlying shade of delicate lavender-rose toning that aptly completes this highly appealing specimen. Only 762 Proofs were coined of this date.
