The base of a '2' can be seen punched into the rock below Liberty and above the '7' of the date. A strong, lustrous About Uncirculated or better. Pale golden iridescence on either side.

This pair of dies was also used to strike a small portion of the proof production of this date. Business strikes from these dies display a few light reverse cracks at the left wreath.
