1867'S' Var.102 (R-4). A tiny obverse die defect is evident just below Liberty's left knee. Choice Brilliant Uncirculated from an overall standpoint. The reverse is easily Very Choice. The obverse enjoys claims to the Choice category. A uniform satiny glow is wonderfully complemented by waves of golden and subtle olive-russet iridescence. By any standards, this date is very rare in full Mint State. In fact, Fortin assigns this issue an R-7 rating at a grade of Mint State or higher!
