1833 JR-9 (R-2). Gem Brilliant Uncirculated. Obverse type: Liberty's capped bust facing left. LIBERTY engraved around the base of her cap, 1833 below her bust. Reverse type: Modified heraldic eagle derived from the Great Seal of the United States of America. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around the upper half of the rim. E PLURIBUS UNUM on a scroll above the eagle's head. '10C' denomination below the eagle. A gorgeous Gem specimen nicer than the Lovejoy coin and graded on the same level as the Eliasberg gem. The obverse is light gray in the center, pale rose and delicate green around the rim. The reverse is a lovely combination of iridescent rose, pale gray, gold, with some areas of darker gray around the periphery.
