1830 JR-2 (R-1). Small '10C'. Brilliant Uncirculated. Obverse type: Liberty's capped bust facing left. LIBERTY engraved around the base of her cap, 1830 below her bust. Reverse type: Modified heraldic eagle derived from the Great Seal of the United States of America. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around the upper half of the rim. E PLURIBUS UNUM on a scroll above the eagle's head. Small 10C denomination below the eagle. Pale silver gray in color on both sides. A very attractive example, the toning shade uniform on both obverse and reverse. The rims are slightly darker color, and serve to frame the obverse and reverse surfaces.
