
1800. JR-1 (R-4). About Uncirculated. Obverse type: Liberty's draped bust facing right. LIBERTY above, 1800 below. Reverse type: Heraldic eagle derived from the Great Seal of the United States of America. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around. Narrow A's. The obverse and reverse of this piece are toned in pale silver gray shades. There are areas of darker toning in places around the periphery and on Liberty's bust, as well as in the lower left reverse field. Both sides show very attractive bright orange gold toning in the fields, gracing nearly full mint lustre and reflectivity. A mostly insignificant reverse rim bruise above 'S O' is noted for accuracy's sake.
