1797 JR-1 (R-4). 16 Star Obverse. Extremely Fine. Obverse type: Liberty's draped bust facing right....1797 JR-1 (R-4). 16 Star Obverse. Extremely Fine. Obverse type: Liberty's draped bust facing right. LIBERTY above, 1797 below. 16 stars around. Reverse type: Small eagle within a wreath. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around. A second example. The obverse and reverse are both light gray in color. There are areas of attractive, pale gold visible on the high points. Light adjustment marks can be seen through the obverse rim at the left.
