1793 Sheldon 3 (R-3). Chain AMERICA. Very Good-10. Here is a highly collectible example of America's first circulating Cent. The color is a medium grayish brown and the surfaces are a bit rough, which is typical. A rim bump is found at 11:00 on the reverse of the coin. The date and mottoes are complete and the all important chain is quite bold. Although far from perfect this is a respectable example of this very scarce type coin.
