Reeded edge. 88.7 gns. Technically Very Fine or better. Surfaces are a charming, glossy chocolate brown in hue, while the brass splasher is golden brown and centered toward the bottom of the crown. Upper third of both obverse and reverse exhibit advanced granularity, greatly weakening the remaining detail in those areas. There is a very slight bend to the planchet.
