1794 Cap and Pole. Sheldon 24. Apple Cheek. Extremely Fine-45 in strict terms of wear. This reddish-brown obverse is outstanding both for strike and detail. The reverse surface appears severely pockmarked or corroded at the center, though this may be the result of slag near the planchet surface.
