 1845'O' Choice Very Fine. For fullness of strike and detail as well as trouble-free wear, this would be a hard coin to match. Branch Mint collectors should note that this handsome coin is one of only 4,000 struck, lowest mintage of the New Orleans Mint. It is sought today in any available grade, and the present coin is actually measurably finer than even the Very Fine piece in the definitive James A. Stack Collection.
