1760 Voce Populi Halfpenny. VOOE spelling. Zelinka 7-E, Nelson 3. 116.3 grains. Very Fine. 25.8mm. Dark golden brown in color on both sides. The obverse is well centered, the reverse off-center toward the upper left with extra metal remaining at the lower right and portions of a planchet-cutter lip visible there. Traces of verdigris on both sides. This later die state shows a full break in 'C' that creates the popular VOOE variety.
