1760 Voce Populi Halfpenny. Zelinka 2-A. Nelson 4. Older Head. 117.4 gns. Choice Extremely Fine, and essentially About Uncirculated in terms of wear. Here is a lovely light brown specimen with lovely golden highlights. The strike is bold and the centering is good, but for a few letters whose very tops have been nipped off. This beautiful coin was evidently struck on a flawed planchet, with some as made flan roughness on the obverse and some dry riverbed type surfaces cracks on the reverse. Overall, this specimen would make a great specimen to represent the type in a colonial coin collection.
