1850 N.11 (R-3+). Mint State-60, or finer. Blue brown obverse exhibits glowing mint red in and around the devices, while the reverse is mostly olive brown with only hints of red in the protected areas. The reverse also displays one dark and one much lighter band of black toning. The obverse rim exhibits a pair of small bruises, and there are some concentrated light scratches in front of Miss Liberty's eye. With very few high grade specimens known of this Newcomb variety, the current specimen ranks among the finest known survivors.
