1794 S.18b (R-4). Head of 1793. Edge of 1794. Very Fine-35. A lovely tan example that has just mild wear at the high points. The lettering and wreath at the reverse are just a shade darker than the fields, giving a nice contrast. A rim mark near 8:00 identifies this example. Close inspection under magnification reveals a couple of areas of very light roughness, but the overall appearance of this specimen is glossy and smooth. A very attractive coin that is approaching the level of Condition Census and is quite scarce at this level of preservation. PCGS XF40.
