1793 S.3 (R-3). Chain AMERICA. The overall detail is easily that of a Fine-12 or better although there is some weakness at the upper right reverse periphery. Chestnut patina envelopes generally smooth surfaces. Rim repairs are evident at 4:30 on the obverse as well as, to a lesser degree, 10:00 on the reverse. Though not without its problems, this very rare coin delivers a smooth, well defined appearance and is certainly worthy of serious consideration.
