Choice Extremely Fine. Golden brown obverse is from the early state of the die without the large die break on the clock, while the reverse is a dark steely brown. The central strike is a bit weak, revealing some of the underlying, inherent roughness of the planchet. A large curved planchet clip is noted at the 12:00 position of both sides. Although this coin appears ''thick'' when viewed from the edge, given its light weight (even considering the clip), we believe it to be a thin planchet issue.
