1786 New Jersey Copper. Maris 16-L. Protruding Tongue. Rahway Mint. 148.6 grains. Very Fine. Deep gray brown in color in the fields, lighter golden brown in the centers and high points. Obverse surface microgranular, rough at the lower right; the reverse somewhat rough in the center, microgranular elsewhere. Some small rim disturbances on both sides, a reverse rim bruise at the upper left. Full tongue break and rim cud on the obverse.
