Undated (Circa 1694) London Elephant Token. No Diagonals. Thin Planchet. Breen 187. 120.6 grains. Choice Uncirculated, with the eye appeal of a Gem. Medium brown surfaces are hard, glossy and exhibit ice-like lustre in the fields. Well struck and generally well centered, with very little of the denticulation remaining at the peripheries. Some minor, flat-to-the-surfaces spots do not intrude on this coin's decidedly strong eye appeal. Hints of original mint red glow in the devices and legends on the reverse of this rare thin planchet variant of this die variety.
