Dark chestnut brown surfaces exhibit a certain amount of gloss despite a series of small pits isolated to the central vertical axis of each side. Splasher is present but totally discolored. Well struck peripheries, the centers are a bit weak. Here is a very respectable specimen of this often wretched-looking issue.
