 George I Indian Peace Medal. Copper, 41.2mm. 292.7 grains. Fine. Pale gold and brown on the front, lighter gold on the reverse. Surfaces a bit rough in places on the obverse. Remarkable reverse sharpness for the grade. Original loop. Obverse: bust right of George I, GEORGE KING OF GREAT BRITAIN around. Reverse: An Indian drawing his bow against a deer standing beneath a tree on a hill at left.
