 George I Indian Peace Medal. Copper, 39.8mm. 267.5 grains. Extremely Fine. Deep, rich brown in color on both sides. Surfaces rough on the back and some pitting evident there but the piece has unusual sharpness for one of these rare medals. Original loop. Obverse: bust right of George I, GEORGE KING OF GREAT BRITAIN around. Reverse: An Indian drawing his bow against a deer standing beneath a tree on a gentle slope at left.
