1854'S' Brilliant Uncirculated. The variety with the '54' of the date apart and a broken 'A' in STATES....1854'S' Brilliant Uncirculated. The variety with the '54' of the date apart and a broken 'A' in STATES. The reverse is that of a Very Choice example, there being razor-sharp definition and entirely vibrant lustre. The obverse, regretfully, exhibits considerable roughness on the lower left quarter of its surfaces. This roughness appears to be the result of having been sea salvaged, a fate for which this date is well known.
