Date and obverse effigy are essentially ''all there,'' while LIBERTY is quite weakly defined on this mostly smooth, chocolate brown specimen. The reverse, however, is mostly worn away, with only the hints of the peripheral legends visible. Due to the advanced wear on this piece, positive die variety identification is difficult. Here is a fully dated specimen that will make an ideal hole filler for the date.
