1788 New Jersey Copper. Maris 67-v. Morristown Mint. 142.8 grains. Extremely Fine. Deep brown color on both sides. Surfaces appear matte to the naked eye, microgranular under magnification. Some light hairlines on both sides. Average sharpness on both sides, the obverse is usually softer looking than the back and the shield lines are usually sharp and bold. Small rim tic on the obverse at the upper right.
