 1879 Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated. Red and Brown. This coin has faded mint color throughout. The surfaces are clean at first glance, however, there is a shallow broken scrape which extends from the top of Liberty's ear through the 'Y' to the fifth feather from the top. Few would notice this minor scrape, and the coin is quite presentable for the color and strike.
