 1849 Gem Brilliant Uncirculated despite a tiny, very inconspicuous obverse planchet streak in the upper right field. Razor-sharp design elements contrast nicely against well mirrored, prooflike fields. A lovely blush of mauve-golden toning accents either side of this distinctive specimen. This date is significantly rarer within the condition range offered here than most of the other Philadelphia Mint issues of this Stars Obverse type.
