 1909'S' V.D.B. Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated. Sharply impressed by the dies and toned the usual wood grain pattern on both sides. Free of distracting spots, but traces of carbon are present near the obverse rim. These new Cents proved very popular and many were set aside. At the time there were enough to go around, but with many more collectors today, the original mintage of 484,000 pieces has seen increasing demand and higher prices. Enough mint color remains to please the eye, and the surfaces are clean and attractive. PCGS MS64RB.
