New York. April 18, 1786. Three Pounds. No.1854. Signed by William Heyer and Henry Remsen. Fine in...New York. April 18, 1786. Three Pounds. No.1854. Signed by William Heyer and Henry Remsen. Fine in terms of wear but has one split on each side that reaches about half an inch into the note. Countersigned by H. Stephenson on the back. Written in old style pen on the back ''from John Oakley Huntington Collection.'' A very rare note that was printed by S. Loudon and the Coat of Arms were cut by Peter Maverick who also designed early Obsolete Bank Notes.
