 1860 Choice About Uncirculated. Much glowing lustre surrounds the deep red-gold devices and the sharply defined stars, legend and rims of this pre-Civil War strike. Belying the image of a ''common date,'' the 1860 has only 34 appearances in the 10-year Dannreuther-Garrett auction listing.
