 25¢. Fr.1299. Green back, surcharged M-2-6-5. Solid, not outlined, face surcharges. Printed on fiber paper. Inverted Back Surcharge. A rare error on a Fessenden note, rarer on a fiber note, but remarkable on a Fr.1299 Solid Surcharge fiber note. The type is rare and always in demand as the majority are chipped or rather toned. This is no exception to that rule. Despite glittering solid surcharges, the paper has toned significantly. The inverted surcharges though are still clearly defined. Extremely Fine. There are two areas of edge chipping, one at the top and a small wedge off the left end.
