Slaves harvesting sugar cane in the center with a spread eagle below the title. Two farmers walking at the lower right with '1' in a die above. A Conestoga wagon at the lower left with ONE below and '1' in a die above. Plain back. Garland 917. Fully issued with serial number 1636. Very Fine with a couple of chinks out of the left side; Massachusetts. Central Bank of Massachusetts. $1.00. Plate C. June 25, 1855. Worcester. Fully issued and altered from the above type. Parts of the right margin and design are missing. 2 pieces.
