Continental Congress. April 11, 1778. Six Dollars. ''Yorktown''. No.59303. Signed by Edward Fox with the other signature gone. Very Good but the printing is somewhat light. The margins are fine although there is some corner rounding. A useful example from this scarce and popular issue.

The Continental Congress met at York, Pennsylvania for fear that the British were going to overrun Philadelphia.

Lot # 306 Session 1
Hammer Price: $240.00
