 1794 O.101a (R-3). Choice Fine. Light lavender-gray devices and legends stand out boldly against fields that are richly toned in iridescent gold, rose, emerald and blue tones. The date is very bold, as are all the design motifs and lettering in general, making this a very desirable specimen of this hotly sought after inaugural year of issue. The right obverse field is lighter in color than the rest of the fields, revealing some faintly swirling brush marks. A thin graffiti 'J' lies well hidden beneath the toning in the left obverse field.
