1806 Browning 3. 5 Free of Arrows. Choice Brilliant Uncirculated. Smooth, flashing silver underlies dramatic steel and pervasive clear gold toning, accompanied by tantalizing undercurrents of clear red-rose. This distinctive variety shows '1' and '6' touching curl and truncation, while '25' and 'C' are free of arrows, tail and olive branch on this reverse. The strike is generally bold with a mere hint of weakness at the centers. This coin places near the top of the Browning-Breen-Bowers Condition Census and is finer than all reported in the JRCC Census. The overall quality and undoubted visual appeal of this marvelous specimen can scarcely be exaggerated and as a type example would be difficult to outstrip.
